عطر تازه، پودری و تابستانی. یک نمونه گرفتم و قطعاً سراغ شیشه‌ی بزرگش می‌رم.
یک نوشابه زنجبیل (جینجر ایل) با یک توپ بستنی وانیلی. یکی از نسخه‌های دی‌ان‌ای تایگر که دوستش دارم. بین این و «سوسپیرو ویبراتو»، باید بگویم که «اینجینیوس» از نظر ماندگاری و تازگی کمی ضعیف‌تر عمل می‌کند. با بوی باز کردن یک بطری گازدار زنجبیل شروع می‌شود، سپس سریعاً به ترکیبی از مرکبات ملایم و وانیلی تبدیل می‌شود که با نوت‌های پس‌زمینه گل و زنجبیل باقی می‌ماند. «اینجینیوس» بیشتر شبیه آبنبات زنجبیل است تا یک مرکبات خالص، بنابراین برای تمام فصول سال خوب است. من شخصاً ۲ تا ۳ ساعت پخش‌بوی در فاصله ۵ فوتی دارم، بعد از ۳ ساعت به عطر پوستی تبدیل می‌شود و نهایتاً بین ۵ تا ۶ ساعت محو می‌شود. برای یک عطر نیچ سطح مبتدی، می‌توانم بگویم که به‌اندازه‌ای پروفایلش را دوست دارم که کسر ماندگاری‌اش را بپذیرم.
نوشابه زنجبیل خوشمزه، گازی، شاداب و تازه‌کننده با طعمی از وانیل. یاد روزهای تابستانی با کاکتیل‌ها می‌اندازم.
این بیشتر یک فلانکرِ آنی است تا یک آلترناتیو برای تایگر/ویبراتو. زنجبیل در آغاز حضور دارد و حدود ۳–۴ ساعت باقی می‌ماند، اما وانیل از شروع تا پایان حس می‌شود. روی پیرهنم تمام روز ماند و روی پوست حدود ۶ ساعت با پخش‌بوی متوسط تا ملایم دوام آورد. سیلاج قابل قبول است. به‌طور کلی، ۷ از ۱۰. بیش‌ازحد روی وانیل تمرکز دارد؛ بیشتر یک عطر وانیلی است تا عطر زنجبیلی.
وای، واقعاً عالیه! اولین بویی که می‌کشی کافیه تا عاشقش شی.
این یک عطر فوق‌العاده‌است. غنی، نرم و با عمق بسیار خوبی است. معمولاً عطرهایی که بوی زنجبیل غالب دارند را دوست ندارم، اما این یکی شیک و منحصر به‌فرد است و آن نوت‌های وانیلی نرم زیرلایه هم باعث می‌شود واقعاً متمایز باشد. تنها نقطه‌ضعفش ماندگاری‌اش است😭 ۸.۵ از ۱۰

گینجر بیر بندابِرگ به طعم گل‌مانند ختم می‌شه. خوشحالم که این نوشیدنی رو با دستِ یه بچه پیش‌دبستانی امتحان کردم، نه با دست خودم. عجیبه و به بدی! چجوری ممکنه اینقدر سنگین باشه و حس خوبی نداشته باشه؟
این روی من عملکرد دیوانه‌واری داشت، نمی‌دونم چرا. حتی بعد از حدود ۱۰ ساعت هم می‌تونستم بویش رو حس کنم. متأسفانه، اینقدر دوستش ندارم که یه شیشه کامل بخرم. به هر حال، این اصلاً شبیه *لِ اِمنسیته* نیست. فقط چون هر دو زنجبیل دارن به این معنی نیست که مشابهن، خداییش! به نظر من بویشون کاملا فرق داره. *اِمنسیته* مثل یه آرایشگاه لوکسه و *اینجینیوس جینجر* مثل یه قندی‌فروشی. وانیل توی *آی‌جی* خیلی غالبه.
پیدا کردم چی بپوشم این پاییز و زمستان. راستش، چند ماهیه که عطرم رو دارم؛ وقتی هوا گرم‌تر بود امتحانش کردم، خیلی توجهم رو جلب نکرد و بلافاصله کنارش گذاشتم. حالا که اینجا هوا خنک شده، تصمیم گرفتم قبل از اینکه کاملا کنارش بذارم، دوباره امتحانش کنم. برگاموت روشن، زنجبیل شیرین و شکلاتی (بله، تند اما نه بیش از حد)، گل مغیلان و گل سرخ با لمس گل‌مانندی ملایم، روی بستر چوبی کهربا، پچولی مدرن (بدون بوی نافتلین)، و بله، وانیل کرمی. ماندگاریش خوبه—با سه اسپری، هشت ساعت دوام میاره. وقتی فکر می‌کنی کاملا از بین رفته، ناگهان پفی از عطر، مثل روحی، یادآوری می‌کنه که هنوز اونجاست. کار باهوشیه.
با طراوت و شادابی آغاز می‌شود: ترکیبی گس و زنده از برگاموت و لیمو که فوراً حس سرزندگی و درخشش می‌دهد. در میانه، عطر با نوت‌های گل‌مانند و سبک، همراه با رگه‌هایی از گل یاس، درخشش اولیه را با نرمی متعادل می‌کند. در پایان، زنجبیل کرمی‌تر و کمی شیرین می‌شود، غرق در زیرلایه‌های خزه‌ای و چوبی. این عطر پرانرژی و در عین حال ظریف است؛ عطر تازه و ادویه‌ای با پیچشی آفتابی و مدرن. اینستاگرام/تیک‌تاک: @wilddew_vibes
این یک سوسپیرو ویبراتوی نرم‌تر و کرمی‌تره. اگر ویبراتو براتون خیلی شدیده، اما دوست دارید طراوتش رو تجربه کنید، این یکی رو امتحان کنید. من شخصاً ویبراتو رو ترجیح میدم، چون دوست دارم میوه و ادویه قوی‌تری داشته باشه همراه با خشکی چوبی و مالت در پایان. «زنجبیل نوآور» (Ingenious Ginger) اما پایان سبک‌تری مثل خامه زده داره.
چند هفته پیش کمی از این عطر رو به عنوان نمونه گرفتم، خیلی خوشحالم شد چون اولش نوت زنجبیلش یه مقدار ترسوندم. خیلی گرمه، مثل یه آغوش گرمت می‌گیره. اولش کمی گازدار (فیزّی) به نظر میاد، بعد بوی شیرینی می‌ده و بیشتر سمت وانیل و کشمیر میره. همه‌کاره‌س اما بازم ترجیح میدم تو هوای سرد بزنمش. با این حال قطعاً قیمتش بیش از حده. قبلاً همین عطر رو دقیقاً، دقیقاً همون رو تو مراسم عروسی تو بخش عطرهای زنانه بو کرده بودم و مطمئنم هیچ‌کس اونجا ۲۰۰ دلار یا بیشتر بابتش نمی‌ده. در کل نمره ۷ از ۱۰ میدم، احتمالاً اگر پول اضافی داشتم یه بطری ۵۰ میلی‌لیتری‌اش می‌خریدم.
خیلی خیلی خیلی خوبه. شیرین، گازی، کرمی، تازه. مثل اکثرا می‌گن عملکردش بهترین نیست اما به خدا قسم می‌ارزه هر روز هفته عملکرد رو فدای کیفیت و عطرش کنم. خیلی بهتر از ویبراتوه و قیمتش هم نصفه. یکی از بهترین عطرهای تابستانی‌ایه که تا حالا بوییدم.
مدتی است که به دنبال عطر با نت زنجبیل خوشایندی می‌گردم و در این مسیر متوجه شدم که انواع مختلفی از نت زنجبیل وجود دارد: زنجبیل بیسکویتی، ریشه تازه زنجبیل، زنجبیل کاندی‌شده، نوشابه زنجبیل و غیره. فکر می‌کنم به دنبال نت نرم و گرم زنجبیل-بیسکویتی هستم، هرچند تا پیدا نکنم مطمئن نخواهم شد. با این تفکر، عطر *Ingenious Ginger* گزینه مناسبی به نظر می‌رسید، اما آغاز آن ترکیبی بین نوشابه زنجبیل ترش و ریشه زنجبیل تند است و دقیقاً همان چیزی نیست که می‌خواستم. نت‌های لیمو و برگاموت در پس‌زمینه حضور دارند و لیمو به‌طور خاص کمی ترکیب را روشن‌تر می‌کند. اگرچه آغاز عطر قوی و کمی تند است، اما ناخوشایند نیست و بعد از چند دقیقه روی پوست آرام می‌گیرد. در مرحله انتقال اولیه، نت نوشابه زنجبیل به سرعت محو می‌شود و تجربه‌ای گرم‌تر، نرم‌تر و البته همچنان تند باقی می‌ماند. از این نقطه به بعد، عطر با پیشرفت بهبود می‌یابد. به زودی نت‌های گل مغنولی و رز ظریف را حس می‌کنم که با زنجبیل ترکیب خوبی دارند. وانیل هم حضور دارد و گرمای بیشتری به عطر می‌افزاید. بعد از حدود یک ساعت، زنجبیل به پس‌زمینه می‌رود و ترکیب دودی، مشک‌مانند و وانیلی-کهربایی باقی می‌ماند. برای من این بهترین مرحله است، حتی اگر دیگر عطر زنجبیلی نباشد. در مراحل پایانی، به وانیل ملایم و محو تبدیل می‌شود. همیشه برایم سخت است که بفهمم عطر چقدر برای دیگران قابل تشخیص است، پس نمی‌توانم در این باره نظری بدهم. اما می‌توانم بگویم که این عطر تا ده ساعت روی پوستم ماندگار است. اگر فقط به عنوان عطر زنجبیلی قضاوت کنیم، *Ingenious Ginger* برای من نیست، اما وقتی به مراحل میانی و پایانی آن نگاه می‌کنیم، داستان کاملاً متفاوت است. اگر بخواهم نام دیگری برایش انتخاب کنم، شاید *Ingenious Smoky, Musky Amber* بگذارم. **جزئیات تست:** نمونه ۱ میلی‌لیتری **فصل/مناسبت:** زمستان و پاییز. مناسب شب. قابل استفاده در اکثر مناسبت‌ها **نکات کلیدی:** آغاز قوی با نت نوشابه زنجبیل و ریشه زنجبیل. مراحل میانی و پایانی بهتر است، زمانی که به عطر دودی، مشک‌مانند و کهربایی تبدیل می‌شود. **امتیاز کلی:** ۸.۵ از ۱۰ **خرید بطری کامل:** احتمالاً
Smells like a summer Nishane ani
Ingenious ginger more like inshittious shitter. I know it's a freshie but c'mon make it last at least 6 hours.
Really nice creamy ginger fragrance. I dont know why people say this doesn't last... I get around 8-9 hours and longer on clothes. It doesn't project strongly but people will definitely catch whiffs of it when walk by
Everything from the opening to the dry down is great, just wish it lasted longer. The nice ginger opening fades too quickly, and the rest of the scent soon follows. Becomes a skin scent within an hour. If the longevity was better I would definitely get a bottle.
I’ve had too many bad experiences with this house to ever buy another one. I fell for the hype. (Most recently the disgusting Pacific Rock Flower. Yuck) This perfume isn’t horrible. The first 15 minutes are delightful. Then it absolutely disappears. Truly, it hecomes non-existent. $250+ for 15 minutes is crazy. I also have Sunset Hour and Southern Bloom. Nice, but horrifyingly fleeting. I’m all set with this house. Never again.
Sillage reminds me of vibrato and layton. Not bad
it is AMAZING. Just wish it was a liiittle cheaper so i could buy it without no doubt. Smells really close to vibrato, it's a really fizzy, citrusy and a bit sweet scent. Bc of its little powdery and vanilla-ish theme, i also find it similar to a lemon cheesecake smell. Not like theodoros lemon tart tho, that's too cake while this is more citrusy. Really likeable and enjoyable, probably if not the best, one of the best starter niche frags.

Ingenious ginger smells like money, like old money. I have a huge collection and have somehow about finished this whole bottle. I wore a classy outfit today that was calling for my ingenious but I also wanted something more on the feminine side. So I reached into my spice cabinet to grab my Burberry Goddess (i store her next to my vanilla extract because I have never smelled a more uninspired vanilla) and the layer combo was chef's kiss! Im about to add this to my jomashop bag because it will always be a staple in my collection.
As it opens, I get a fizzy ginger ale note with a soft vanilla undertone that instantly uplifts me. It’s inoffensive, intimate, and joyful. As it develops, the scent softens, but I still catch whiffs of warm vanilla blending beautifully with a ginger that is less prominent in the dry down. Eventually, when the scent becomes subtle and more intimate, those fleeting whiffs are so much better and more meaningful than many of the generic, linear, and hollow scents. I’m used to. It’s truly unique, and while the dry down can come across as slightly maple syrupy, it doesn’t bother me. I know it won’t suit everyone’s olfactory taste or skin chemistry, but for me, it just feels right.
Opens with a burst of fizzy lemon soda. The ginger here isn’t harsh —it’s fresh, sweet, and slightly spicy, giving off a tingling sparkle on the skin. The citrus is juicy and bright, leaning more towards candied sweetness than sharp zest, reminding me of Lemonhead candies or even a Sprite without the lime. As it settles, a soft powderiness comes in, carried by a sweet, smooth vanillic backbone. It keeps that refreshing vibe but never turns too sharp or bitter—it’s playful, fizzy, and uplifting, the kind of scent that feels tailor-made for easygoing summer days. Around this point I'm starting to get reminded of Nishane's Ani, or French Avenue's Spectre Ghost. Performance, unfortunately, is where it struggles. It reminds me a lot of Pacific Rock Moss: light, refreshing, but fleeting. I actually get more presence from Pacific Rock Moss on my skin compared to this one. Ingenious Ginger lingers softly, and after a couple hours I have to strain my nose to pick up anything. Still, for what it is—a cheerful, sparkling summer fragrance with an addictive soda-like twist—it’s a gem to have when the heat calls for something bright, fun, and easy to wear.
I went interrailing in October and in Italy we found these lemon and ginger Haribos that you can’t get in the UK. This smells EXACTLY like those with a slightly musky background note. This would be lovely on a hot summer day, or a cold spring/autumn day that’s really bright. It’s impressive that it’s not pulling bathroom cleaner on me as citrus forward fragrances tend to do, and overall I actually really like it… at least for the first 5 minutes. After that, as with the other perfumes I’ve tried from this house, it starts to lean B.O., although I do have to squint to smell it. That unfortunately increases as dry down matures, and this turns into a generic musky vanilla which is actually quite heavy especially compared to how fresh and shimmery this is initially. So disappointing as someone who does not like the combo of vanilla and musk.
After running through G&B discovery kit I found out Pacific Rock Moss to be my favorite while IG second best. I had the urge to buy a new fragrance and pulled a trigger for 100ml IG due PRM being sold out. Out off my own 100ml bottle this indigenous Ginger smells somewhat like a mixture of an armpit sweat and curry. Totally different than discovery kit sample smelled. This smells nice off my clothes worn day before and off the paper. I wouldn’t say my hygiene is bad but maybe there’s something reacting on my pale Scandinavian skin.. Wanted to love it. Ended up regretting not getting PRM
This is a perfect everyday freshie/signature scent for all year round. The opening is fresh, fizzy, and very refreshing. Then in the dry down it gets very smooth and the woods start to shine through. You can almost smell the ginger fizziness in between each note. Perfect amount of projection and longevity (for me) I like quieter fragrances. Loud or “beast mode” fragrances always smell insecure to a lot of people. Something like this is literally perfect. Smells great and not overstated
This is an outstanding creation! And it has quickly become one of my absolute favourites for the summer. I just wish this would last and perform a little longer. Other than that absolutely exceptional!!
Ingenious Ginger is a very fresh citrus fragrance with a pronounced ginger note. The floral touches in the heart give it a light and airy character, while the base of vanilla and musk comes through quite strongly, adding warmth and smoothness to the composition. Overall, it leaves a pleasant impression: invigorating and energetic, yet not too sharp. I would personally prefer a bit more sillage, but even as it is, the performance feels respectable. To my nose, it leans more masculine — fresh, confident, but without being overly aggressive. A great option for everyday wear, especially in warmer seasons.
Reading the other reviews, this seems to be a chameleon of a fragrance. I first tried my sample on paper months ago, and it had a delightful but, for me, too sparkly ginger ale character. It seemed to cheerful, and only recently out of boredom did I bother trying it on skin, where it shines. The opening is still ginger ale, and that lasts for some hours even after the initial sparkle fades, but beneath it is a rich and sensual amber that is divine. It lasts for ages and feels so sexy, I never would have guessed this is the same fragrance I tried on paper so long ago. Very interesting how it smells so different to so many people.
The initial spray is a bright, bubbly ginger, then dries down to more vanilla/amber with a hint of ginger notes still whispering. I didn't like the initial spray on the tester, but on my skin, it was something different.
NO. this is opening is NOT ginger flower, ..this is the scent of culinary ginger, as in the root. It is vanilla-sweetened and further tanged up with some citrus, so basically ginger ale. ...it's nice. btw: If anyone doesn't know what ginger flowers smell like, they're basically a white floral. ...and there isn't really very much floral about this. Sweet, yes, Floral, no. Later in the drydown, this sweetness may become more floral, but even still it is very non-specific. I suppose synthetic accords of jasmine, magnolia, and rose might do that... The scent is also developing an odd nutty scent, like hazelnuts or brazilnuts, ...not really wild about that. Later: That nutty note may have been transitional. The deep drydown is a classic ambre-vanille-santal. Edit: I just read an artical about Ingenious Ginger that basically says this a 'ginger flower is just a fantasy accord. ...so I feel vindicated. The problem with Goldfiled & Banks is they're marketing tries to imply they're using unusual idigenous Australian materials, but really they're just using the same industy-standards and then renaming them during the marketing meeting... Now if the company actually developed an industry where they extract new essential oils and absolutes from endemic Australian plants, that would really be something, ...and would actually justify a high price point.
I like it. I really fucking like it. The opening and mid are the best part. Sherbet vibes all around. I’ve smelled a lot and I actually was surprised at how unique the opening is. There isn’t a lot that smells like IG’s opening The sillage and lingering trail is a chefs kiss, but the dry down is where I feel like I got catfished on a Tinder date… it’s not bad, per say. It just dries down to this overly bright, bordering screechy, flash bang grenade of an Ambroxan Bomb. Think Bvlgari Tygar with the Ambroxan ramped up. I personally had to scrub it off after about 8/9 hours into the dry down. Ambroxan or Amber was just too much
This smells like a Bundaberg ginger beer mixed with some fresh citrus. It’s sweet and nice, the opening is similar to the drydown in my opinion, but over time you get exposed to more of the creamy vanilla base. Eventually you get this very light skin scent of soft serves and ginger beer. Overall, a nice scent but I don’t think it’s amazing as it is a bit one dimensional.

This is so wonderful and always a pleasure to wear. It combines aspects of Tygar and Ani in such a beautiful way to create something new, sparkling, and uplifting. Interestingly in the warm weather aspects of Ani are more pronounced (the vanilla/florals) and in cool weather we get more of the ginger sparkly nature of Tygar. That's what makes this fragrance wearable all year with the exception of the hottest of hot humid days when the vanilla can be a bit much. Otherwise I've never regretted spraying it especially since I get different experiences depending on the weather. I have many fragrances in this genre and I end up using this most of all throughout the year, though I wear Tygar more in the smouldering days of summer. Love.
Not a bad smell. I ended up selling mine. I am not hating on this fragrance as it is ok for the price it offers. Yet the quality of the ginger and vanilla in this smells poor and too simple. Little else going on besides pure ginger for the first hour, then straight vanilla the next 2-3 hours sitting close to the skin. Performance is weak. 1st hour: fizzy ginger. 2-3 hours: simple vanilla. Then its gone. If you're deciding between this and Vibrato, I'd say go for Vibrato!
I have no idea why Vibrato is voted as similar here. I like this way better because Vibrato, unfortunately, just smells heavy and a bit stinky for me. I like the ginger a lot and this does not have the heaviness of Vibrato at all.
“Smells like melted down popsicle, It’s sweet as shit a kid could wear that” Smells like a creamy Fanta, a tutti fruity gum or an orange creamsicle. Not that much ginger for a ginger fragrance, this isn’t really a summer fragrance. Average silage and lasts for an alright time, not $200 quality, Might get compliments, kinda smells like amber oud gold Sad this didn’t have much ginger 😿. Thought I was getting a summer fragrance but this is really sweet, This doesn’t smell like a ginger ale 😾. It says there’s a citrus opening and stuff but I’m always just getting sweet fruity vanilla, It’s pretty good but I wouldn’t wear it, Really recommend sampling, Will update on more G&B summer fragrances. NO ! It doesn’t smell like Vibrato. This is much lighter, doesn’t project ,and lasts maybe 3-4 hours with projection and sillage. Woah ! Glad I sampled this first. Vibrato is SO much stronger, projects , offers sillage where my wife said she smelled me walking up to the car. That’s what I want. Profile, power, projection, and sillage. This just aint it
This is like all of those grapefruit ginger dna fragrances but done different. It has a soft rose, with a smooth vanilla in the drydown. I get better performance because of this, as well as just a more lovely scent profile. This fragrance is finally getting its flowers in the last year, and it’s still under rated. You can wear this scene year round as well. Best bang for your buck fragrance on the planet, check it out.
For Who says it’s overrated, its smells so damn good i’m in love with it that t still thinks its underrated. Please get sample or something you have to smell this
On an exceptionally warm, sunny day I mistook it for Sunset Hour, thinking it would be the perfect fruit cocktail on me — and what a lovely surprise! It smelled so good — so deliciously amber-rosy in the heat. My husband, too, leaned in and sniffed curiously. How did I never think of this before? An utterly luscious choice for a sunlit, sweltering day.
i hated this at first, it smelt like a sweet creamy ginger snap but in an off-putting way. when i sprayed it, my friend in the room said something smells like curry. after a couple weeks, i now smell something different. it definitely has that vibrato/tygar background although i never would have made that connection if i didnt see people comparing them. i still get the weird vanilla creamy ginger snap BUT i can also smell ginger ale if i really think about it. not bad but i cant imagine wearing this in the heat. honestly, more of a fall smell to me. 6/10
This most definitely isn’t a summer fragrance. When you first spray it you get a little citurs and ginger with the vanilla subtly there, which put me off at first. But on the dry down this is just straight dark vanilla and it was pretty headache inducing in my opinion. Would not recommend as a summer fragrance.
It’s literally just tygar/vibrato
I feel I must disclose that I am and have been a lifelong fan of ginger in all forms, so I was slightly disappointed when the sweetness of this fragrance read to me more as ginger beer than actual ginger. I have written a review of Ingenious Ginger when it was released, based on a 2 ml sample test and I was kind of torn about it. After owning a full bottle and wearing it for a dozen of times as the scent for the day, I grew to love this scent! It’s indeed a more feminine version of Bvlgari’s Tygar, which I had the chance to test recently and as a female, I prefer Ingenious Ginger obviously… Haven’t gotten my nose on Vibrato yet to be able to compare it against, but when that happens, will update here. Therefore, if a slightly sweet, soft, powdery vanilla based scent with a zingy, citrusy, watery floral, ginger dominant note is your thing and you are a female, you can’t go wrong with Ingenious Ginger. This is a very popular, mass appealing scent DNA that Goldfield &Banks capitalised upon! It has it all for warm, sunny, summery days and it’s not overpowering in high heat and high humidity temperatures. I am wearing it today, in a 30 Celsius degrees weather and it’s radiating beautifully off my skin!
Maybe I got a bad batch, but to me it smells like sol de Janeiro and fish.

Update to my review below. I’ll double down on this not being my thing. It’s musty, medicinal and has this overwhelming cheap synthetic vanilla note. This fragrance should only be $80 max. If you want quality ginger with vanilla get Ani, if you want a ginger fragrance without vanilla get FM Uncut Gem which people trash to death but it’s miles better than both of these fragrances and the strength is insane. Uncut Gem is my go to, some might say not worth the money but name a ginger fragrance that does it better.
My sample was smashed in the mail but the entire box smells like a ginger ale float with vanilla ice cream. I was drawn to this because ginger (in food) has always given me a slight herbal vibe along with the heat and was hoping this would be less cloying than a purely sweet vanilla. Ice cream is undoubtedly sweet but it evokes something refreshing that’s not quite solid. Will update when I get a functional spray.
Just picked up a bottle of Ingenious Ginger today, and I don’t know what it is, but it hit me way harder than it ever has before. I’ve smelled it a handful of times in the past, but today it just came alive. It’s so bright, fizzy, and juicy, like cracking open a cold, citrusy drink on a hot summer day. There’s this effervescent quality to it that instantly lifts your mood. The citrus opening is genuinely some of the best I’ve ever come across, super natural and energetic. As it dries down, the florals and that smooth vanilla cashmere combo come in and wrap everything up in this soft, comforting warmth. It never feels synthetic or scratchy, just incredibly well done from top to bottom. It even has this kind of summer gourmand vibe, but it’s so light and wearable that it never gets heavy or sweet. Honestly, it’s one of those rare fragrances that just feels right the moment it hits your skin. My only regret is not falling in love with it sooner. This one’s definitely a new favorite. 10/10 well done Goldfield & Banks, truly an Australian masterpiece, pure class.
Ingenious is the best of the big 3 (vibrato and tiger) for this DNA category in my opinion, very smooth, fizzy and refreshing, this almost reminds me not of ginger ale soda but cream soda especially in the dry down. Light and airy. Both vibrato and tygar lean more grapefruity and this is more vanillia. LV L’lmmensite is the true ginger scent if that’s what your looking for. I rate ingenious ginger a 10/10 in my collection .
Okayyyy I have both. Vibrato and ingenious Ginger, First my vibrato is french batch and its love from first sniff and its one of the best thing I’ve smelled. But like i said i have french batch and i watched some reviewers and said its all like the same french batch and italy batch idk but mine is only Last 4 hours and i didin’t got nose blind to it after 5 hours my Sospiro Vibrato is gonee. And i bought ingenious ginger because i love this dna so much, if IG had more sillage and longevity 💯is better than vibrato but to me i love both I think i like ingenious ginger more now its amazing and I’ll update after some wearing
Oh boy, where do i begin? beautiful fragrance, i absolutely love this. Fresh, sweet, sparkling citrus with a hint of vanila in the dry down. This just smells beautiful and high quality, but heres the thing. we all know the tygar dna allegations and everything but i really do love this, my issue is, i find it redundant if you already own vibrato (Which i do own) and vibrato does everything IG does but better. I would buy a full bottle of this if it wasnt for the performance, close to the skin and around 5 hours max, not a bad thing but vibrato just blows this out of the water. OVR i would give this an 8.4/10.

I got a 10 ml of Ingenious Ginger after hearing so many rave reviews, and being a ginger lover in general. While I do really LIKE this one, it's not a love, even though I've really enjoyed wearing it and finished off the 10 ml pretty quickly. I find this 'okay' on its own, but LOVE how it layers with Sunset Hour. Now these two are a match made in heaven! Ingenious Ginger is smooth and slightly floral but most definitely unisex. The longevity is great and projection moderate -- strong. The first time I wore this my partner complimented it ("you smell nice!"), but the second time he said "That is STRONG!!" Granted, I'm an over sprayer, but if you're worried about what others think.... just continue over-spraying and enjoy yourself ;-) So, for me, while this one is super likable and I know people are wild about it it just doesn't resonate deeply with me -- and I think it has something to do with the first ginger perfume that totally won me over: Origins Ginger Essence :-) That one for me sets the bar. I know I.G. is the cool new ginger kid on the block, but my heart remains with the O.G...E. ;-)
To be honest I had my questions by this fragrance at first, it is something I normally don't go to. But, after testing it and getting used to it I liked it more and more by every smell, you do get a nice ginger, slight sweet addictive smell. This is a mass appealing fragrance. This is something you can wear instead of your animalic stinky oud in the summer " joke ". No but, smell is 8/10, silage is 7/10 it stays around you pretty good, longevity is good aswell for a summer fragrance but nothing too special, its not like it will stick all day. Get yourself a sample or go to the store and spray it on your skin to test it out, a pretty safe fragrance.

I was sad because I didn't like this for the first hour or two. I like ginger and spicy but I'm not a fan of amber so from the start this was going to be a dice roll for me, but I went for it because of the positive reviews. At first all I got was generic vanilla/amber/sandalwood that was wintery and grating. It made me think of a department store fragrance section. Then after about 2 hours of wear, it has matured into very pretty spicy bright scent and I get all the comments of it being a summery daytime wear. Not sure how much I'll be wearing it because having to wait that long isn't terribly appealing. I wonder if my skin is just weird.
Very fun and fizzy smelling fragrance. It reminds me of the Fanta or when you first open up a can of ginger ale. Later on it dries into a creamy vanilla with the fizziness fading away. I love how this fragrance smells but the only downside is it doesn't really project, at least on my skin. If it projected more this would probably be one of my favorite fragrances. 8/10
The opening's nice and fresh, however after 5-10 minutes scent changes to a lemon tart, quite synthetic in my opinion. Expected something else of it.
Very nice citrusy fragrance for summer. I was expecting notes of ginger but I honestly didn’t get any ginger notes on me. To be sincere, for the longevity that it has, I would much rather buy Turathi Afnan because it smells EXACTLY the same in my opinion, plus is much much more cheaper than this one.
Unpleasant, musty opening. Dries down to something that reminds me of what my grandma used to wear, which is nice, but it has that mustiness to it (the vanilla? the cashmere?) that I do not like. Too bad. I thought it would be cute for me (an ingenious ginger) if I ended up really liking it.

If I had to choose one Fragrance for the rest of my life then this might very welhe one; Elegant, Sexy, Fresh and then Vanilla kinda warm and sweet. WOW, Just WOW. It s appropriate for all 4 seasons but it works WONDERS in summer. For this fragrance is what summer nights were made for. Ingenious Ginger by Goldfield & Banks is not just a fresh citrus scent—it’s a whole vibe. Imagine being at a beach lounge after sunset… golden string lights swaying in the warm breeze, music low, skin still warm from the sun. That’s the world this fragrance lives in. It opens with a fizzy burst of ginger flower and citrus—vibrant, juicy, and sparkling, like a ginger cocktail in your hand. But what makes this truly special for me is what comes after. As it dries down, you get this soft, sensual evolution: creamy vanilla, airy florals, and warm musks. The base feels silky, comforting, and intimate—like warm skin under dim light. This isn’t your typical citrus fragrance that fades into nothing. No—this one transforms. It starts out fresh and energetic, but then becomes smooth, sexy, and even a bit erotic. Ingenious Ginger starts off almost the same as Vibrato—very close in the opening—but IG feels a bit more zesty. The big difference is in the drydown: IG goes into a soft vanilla powdery base, (agree with lemon tart thing). It also reminds me of the way Ani by Nishane behaves (I haven’t tried Ani X), since both open with lots of citrus and end up on a vanilla base. They feel pretty similar in that way. On my skin, the performance isn’t great. The scent stays close to the skin after 30 minutes, and it lasts about 4 hours in total. Good thing you can overspray comfortably. Definitely your daily fragrance! To be honest, it smells nice, but the performance is poor for the high price.
This has such a beautiful effervescent Canada Dry ginger ale opening that unfortunately is short lived & doesn’t stay linear. On the drydown, it turns into an overdose of a sickeningly sweet cashmeran vanilla bomb which I wasn’t a fan of. I ended up selling it but it is a nice scent if you like heavily sweet vanilla gourmands. My climate is way too hot for me to be rocking this in the spring & summer and this fragrance is not heavy enough to project in the cooler months when you wanna wear your heavier ambers, leathers & tobaccos.

Blind bought this fragrance and I am glad that I did. This is such a nice, uplifting, sweet, ginger fragrance. It's like if there were a cream soda version of ginger ale. It starts off heavier with citrus and ginger which lasts a little bit through the dry down and then becomes a sweet ,very slightly floral, vanilla type scent. It is mass appealing and I would say unisex leaning slightly masculine. I have had so many people give me compliments on it and are really intrigued by the smell and want to know what I am wearing. If you're looking for a citrus-ginger type fragrance like Bulgari Tygar this starts off a little that way, albeit less citrusy and woodsy, but it totally different in the dry down. Because of the vanilla muskiness of this fragrance it can work for pretty much any season and is very versatile. Doesn't last super long (4-6 hours) so if you like it get a 100 ml. Worthy addition to the collection and a certified compliment beast.
I've never been asked by random strangers what perfume i was wearing more in my life, especially husbands wanting to get it for their wife. This my favourite scent profile I absolutely adore amber, jasmine, vanilla and ginger. This perfume is definitely ginger heavy, smells very sexy but also classy and feminine. It's so interesting, it smells exactly like a fresh glass of ginger beer. Has a very fizzy quality too which I find very unique. I know this is unisex but I can't imagine a man wearing this, maybe it would change depending on skin chemistry though. I wish this fragrance could project longer, the sillage calms down quite quickly but for the first hour it's beast mode.
I understand why some aren’t initial fans of this but it smells amazing and just like the name would suggest. Even in winter it performs relatively well and the dry down is lovely. Gets a lot of hype and for good reason, it is high quality stuff.
This is really not it, I am very disappointed, I love L’immensité with that ginger note but mixed with vanilla is so bad. Smell very synthetic to my nose and thank god I ordered a sample before buying full bottle. It is just not my scent. I am sure people like it but it is not for me.
I agree with bigbongo below, Its a very medicinal smelling combo of notes. Almost like a sore muscle cream smell. The vanilla mixed with the ginger and citrus almost makes me sick. I only bought a sample, thank god. I tried to scrub off about 20 minutes in and its still lingering so it must be a long lasting scent unfortunately. I thought I liked citrus and ginger but something in this is just bad news. 1/10 worst scent i have smelled this year!!!
A pleasant gingery opening that faded quickly to cheap vanilla toilet spray.
Blind bought this due to the relentless social media hype. Totally disappointed. Orange/citrus notes are too sharp in the opening, and I find the vanilla combo to be nauseating. This scent smells like a cheap cleaning product to my nose, but maybe it's just not my style as a man who much prefers masculine scents. Regrettably, I would score this a 1 out of 10 I would recommend Bohemian Lime from G&B instead.
I thought this was going to be one of my favourites from the discovery set but it was far from it. The opening is pleasant, a sweet fizzy ginger, reminds me of those sachets of chinese instant ginger tea granules and also similar to Ani but just like with Vibrato ( which others find this to be similar to) there's something about the citrus/ginger and creamy sandalwood (or whatever is in the base of Vibrato) in the drydown that just isn't working for me. Like a refreshing ginger ale but with potato chips on the side. Apart they are yummy, together not so much. Someone described it as a belch. I don't want to be as frank but yeah, kinda. I don't know. It's nice enough in the opening but after that I don't really enjoy the rest of this fragrances direction. I love several of the others in this line though. mood : in need of a ginger boost, too busy to smell the drydown
Got my hands on a sample of this and decided to go straight in and spray it on my upper chest and neck. Smells pleasant, but I shrugged and told myself "I guess I get to smell like a chick for the next few hours". Unisex is a stretch, this is pretty feminine to my nose.
I never buy fragrances on the basis of if other people will give it compliments and if it’s “mass appealing”, just if I like it and that’s it. But this one right here, i’ve been wearing it for a week and it’s a compliment machine. I wore it to a party in 60-70 degree weather and i received like 5+ compliments from friends and strangers alike. My female friends which I went out with asked me what it was to write it down. In conclusion, very mass appealing, works in colder weather and not only summer months due to the sweet dry-down, very unisex, and the ladies love it.
This is light, fruity and fresh! The opening is great and you do get a fleeting ginger accord but I don’t get the fizzy ginger beer others describe but that’s fine. Initially it sits away from the skin and evaporates away and then the most noticeable scent is a sweet juicy mandarin but again light and airy. Smells relatively realistic… then the transition is sandalwood and vanilla but keeps in line with the rest of the profile and stays light and airy. So easy to wear.. it’s not by any means complex and feels very designer in profile but great for those days you just want to smell great. I’d say it can be worn by any one of any age but slightly feminine in the way it projects and sits on the skin.
In the opening you get a sharp ginger scent mixed with vanilla and some citrus blended very well together with some florals on the dry down and it’s a bit soapy. This fragrance leans more towards the fresh side but I feel you could probably wear it all seasons. The scent is addictive, this is definitely bottle purchase worthy if you can even find a bottle available 9.2/10

This is some good juice. It's not a summer day high heat fragrances. It's spot is somewhere cooler and more relaxed. Cooler days or more late afternoon and evening, casual settings is where this one shines.
I'm really pleased with this. It smells like pez candy to me with the champagne adding a nice light fizz, but at the same time there's this hint of musk that warms it up a bit. Super fun scent, but it doesn't last a long time on me. I don't know if I'd purchase a full bottle.
Absolutely sensational, Ginger ale fizzy opening with touches of citrus, and it's actually fizzy like you can literally smell it's like the soda, dries down into a vanilla-ey creamy ginger that is very pleasant, performance is average for a niche but the scent profile is just amazing, instant 10/10, blind buy safe but still very unique summer scent.

I ended up grabbing a bottle. This shit is super cheap, and it's nice. Nothing mind blowing or WOW. But it's pleasant, and rather inoffensive.
I’m 50/50 on getting a bottle to just have around only because I don’t know if this is masculine leaning which I prefer, or feminine leaning in which I would not purchase. I think the name of this scent matches the actual experience, it’s certainly ingenious. To me I do get a Tom Ford TV vibe minus the tobacco, think Tabac Rouge. I can see the Ani comparison too. Way back in the background you have to search for the Tygar and Vibrato nuances but nobody is going to compare those unless they are intensely looking for the comparison. Not sure if this is ginger cookies which gives a gourmand experience, it’s airy, slightly sweet, but I don’t get the fizz most have mentioned below. Maybe a drunken sweetened lemon ginger tea would be the most accurate here. When I can’t make up my mind, the answer is no, because I do think this is more for a woman and I think this can be a woman’s signature. If I could rename this scent it would be Ginger Vanille by Tom Ford, I think the florals ultimately make this feminine, fellas I’d stick to TV
This fragrance has been a journey for me. After moving to a hotter and more muggy climate I had to shelve all my patchouli/ smoke heavy winter sprays that I used to gravitate to. When I first smelt this in a discovery kit I bought blindly; I was drawn to the effervescent fizziness that was like cracking a ginger beer on a blanket in the sun. It had a beautiful creamy base note and I thought I had found a contender for my new everyday. Sadly, it just didn’t last at all. I would spray four times and in two hours it was a ghost. I even got my partner to smell me to make sure I wasn’t just nose blind. Disappointed; I threw it in a drawer and moved on. Four months later I was cleaning out my closet and stumbled across the sprayer. Wanting to revisit what was a fleeting but enjoyable scent; I have myself two sprays and kept cleaning. HOLY HELL. Whatever chemical settling happened between my first spray to now was like an explosion. It became one of the loudest, most long lasting scents I’ve ever smelt. I smelt it on my sweat shirt for the next three days, and I had to surreptitiously wipe my wrists on my pants to try to turn the volume down when I was hugging people. I left a delicious zingy scent trail that evokes thoughts of being day drunk in an orange orchid. Today I purchased a full size which I will promptly store in a dark closet for two months before bringing it out to play.
Somewhat similar to Louis Vuitton DNA. The scent is decently light (borderline skin scent) but the wafts I get are very satisfying. Highly reminiscent of traditional Chinese incense; not really sure what in the notes causes that. I will say this strikes me as more feminine, not that there's anything wrong with that. Overall 7/10

One of my all time favorite scents. Very sparking, fizzy, aromatic and uplifting. Ginger in this smells very photo realistic. This fragrance receives often compliments and it promotes concentration and mental energy. It is my go to scent when I need to get something done or whenever I want to feel more happy, energized and inspired.

If you love the identity of Tygar or Vibrato, this slots in right next to them—just less sharp and citrus-heavy. It opens with a little sparkle, then smooths into this fresh, cozy vanilla-ginger combo that’s super wearable. Clean, a little creamy, and easy to love. I get good performance, but I hear this a lot from other people. I think it's a straightforward addition to a collection. If you already own Tygar or Vibrato, you don't need this one.

My latest pickup—and I hesitated at first because of all the talk about weak performance, especially considering the price tag. But once I smelled it, I had to have it. It opens with a refreshing blast of ginger, paired beautifully with a warm, sweet base of vanilla and amber. To my nose, it gives off Vibrato/Tygar vibes, but with a soft Layton-like undertone in the dry down. And honestly, I’m really surprised by the performance. I got my bottle about a month ago, and either I got lucky with a strong batch or it’s been reformulated—because both projection and longevity are solid. Fresh enough for summer and spring, but thanks to the creamy dry down, I can see myself wearing this year-round. - Smell: 10/10 - Performance: 8/10 - Sillage: 8/10
This smells like orange soda, but sweeter. Maybe orange candy. I was expecting a refreshing ginger, similar to the one in the old DHS, but I get cloying mandarin and oranges. The notes votes distribution and the perfumes name are very deceiving, no ginger here. Not very bad, but nothing I expected. And yes, it does give me Turathi Blue vibes which I know very well because my father is rocking it. 3/5

This is sooo nice. I have a decant of Tygar and L’immensite and this is my favorite out of the three. If it were just pure grapefruit and citrus like tygar it would be very linear and kinda boring, but the vanilla amber dry-down in this is what stands it out from the rest. I think this is perfect for spring, summer and early fall. You can use day and nighttime in those seasojs for sure. Definitely will pull lots of compliments as it is very safe, and not too niche like. Bought 100ml for $125 and that’s amazing value for this. I blind bought it as well having already tested Tygar since the DNA in the top notes is basically the same, so it was blind buy safe for me, and I would say for you too. Worthy of the hype

In the same ball park as Bvlgari Tygar, or Vibrato. Very nice fresh, spicy, musky and warm ambery/orangy smell. Very nice for the warmer months. Longevity could be better for the price.

Thank god I got to smell this before I bought it, I have turathi blue and I just got my my brothers ingenious to compare. This fragrance is a lighter more gingerly soda scent in comparison and smells higher quality. But with that being said I like the smell and grapefruit of turathi more and I’d find it redundant to own both. Honestly if you own any fragrance with this dna you definitely won’t need another. Unless you genuinely like it that much more. A little overhyped but still a good fragrance If you want to know what this smells like, smell the fizz, yes the fizz of ginger ale, genuinely 1:1 7.5/10

If you’re looking for a ginger bomb freshie: this : is not it! Smells like vanilla/citronella with an undertone of ginger. It’s not bad, it’s even good/average. It’s just overhyped from what I read from reviewers. That’s what makes it disappointing. I expected much more from the influencer hype.

I expected a fresh summer fragrance, but all I'm getting from it is vanilla and sandalwood with an annoying floral scent in the background that really throws me off. I think you need to have an appreciation for floral scents in order to enjoy this one. definitely sample before buying
Yes! This is the ginger I was hoping it would be. I love the smell of freshly grated ginger. This has that fresh, zesty, biting, fresh ginger blast in the opening and dries down into a softer wearable warm ginger on the skin. Completely unisex and I think this is signature scent worthy. Can’t wait to try it in all seasons.
Tried from the brand’s discovery set. I absolutely love this one! It’s playful and comforting — sweeter than I expected, in the best way. I just wish the performance was a bit better, but I haven’t worn it in hot weather yet. I have a feeling it’ll shine in high heat.
This is definitely worthy of the hype. Ingenious Ginger has the perfect balance of uplifting fizzy ginger and citrus with a smooth, elegant dry down. It's mass appealing and unique at the same time. I say blind buy worthy. Not to mention it's relatively affordable. I'd give this a 9.5/10.
why does this smell like bug spray mixed with cough syrup on me. vibrato is like a top 5 for me of all time and this just didn't do it for me for some reason. day ruined i thought i would love this so much no idea why they both act so different on my skin Alright the drydown is significantly better and it gets sweeter but the first 30 minutes of bug spray really put me off for a while. i like this if its going to last long on my skin and smell like this for the majority of it, but that opening is just so harsh on MY skin that i'll probably just stick to vibrato for this occasion. really nice tho once it gets past that nasty stage. Holy shit like 2 weeks after having it i love this. Straight 9.3/10 now. The bug spray went away and this smells like both nishane ani and sospiro vibrato, both i love. really nice!
Ingenious ginger opens up to an uplifting realistic ginger zing. As well with the touches of citrus combined with the vanilla in the background, every now and then I would get whiffs of it. Projecting about a foot for about a few hours, lasts on skin for around 6-8 hours for me, on clothes however it lingers for about over a day. Which is quite decent for a freshie. A solid 8.5/10 for me!
Almost identical opening to sospiro vibrato, with the citrus and ginger bomb. However, it dries down into a smooth vanilla, almost like a vanilla ice cream float that uses ginger ale. Better value than sospiro vibrato. Although, the citrus/ginger longevity is way less than that of sospiro vibrato. If on a budget, get ingenious ginger, but if not, get vibrato. 8.5/10.
A delicious mixture of sweetened lemon, zingy ginger, and creamy vanilla. The ginger is fresh and spicy; enough to tickle your nose. Just think of a ginger ale cream soda with lemon. This is perfectly unisex and if you're into sweet vanilla scents then this is worth sampling.

i only bought this one because perfumer was hamid merati-kashani and im happy with my purchase. this is the definition of a citrus bomb. it is so strong that overflowing from its bottle. actually reminds me of those cough syrups that i drink when i was a kid but this one smells more like a fragrance of course. like ittttt

I picked up a decant of this after hearing about it online, and I was blown away. Such a pretty, intoxicating smell - and I usually find heavy, winter-suitable scents to be easier to fall in love with. Initially, I thought longevity was terrible. However, yesterday, on a cool Midwest late-winter day, I sprayed it at noon and it was still quite present at 7 when I was driving. 5 hours after I applied four sprays, my sister told me that she could get "whiffs" of the fragrance here and there, and that was outside. That is how I want people to be able to experience fragrance on me, rather than being continually overpowered. To me, this smells like a combination of cream soda, ginger ale, and citrus in the best, most sophisticated way, and I can't get enough of it. I just bought a bottle, and this, along with Diptyque Do Son, Vilhelm Black Citrus, and Vilhelm Moon Carnival will be my summer layout.
Ginger is one of my favorite notes, and as such I was super excited to finally get a sample of this in hand after reading all the positive reviews. Unfortunately, I had my hopes immediately crushed upon spraying it... The opening is a combination of strange, artificial ginger, cleaner-like citruses, and an amalgamation of florals. These notes sit atop vanilla, sandalwood, and cashmeran that clash horrendously against everything else. I'm certainly not one of the snobs who think that all perfumes need to smell "natural" to be enjoyable, but this is SO synthetic that I can't look past it- instant headache material. Once it dries down a bit it gets a little tamer, but it remains relatively linear throughout its lifespan. The vanilla pops a bit more as it progresses. Lasts long enough, on par with other fresh fragrances. Projects loudly for an hour then continues to project moderately for another few.
I want to love it but can't, it just smells like mosquito spray or some sort of cleaning spray- I don't know how to describe it.
I bought a 10 ml decant and I hate how much I love this. The opening smells incredible. I have to test it out in the summer, to see how it performs, but smell-wise it's so good. Interestingly, it smells quite similar to Turathi Blue in the opening. I know that TB is not a direct clone of that, but it's definitely similar, and I know for a fact that Turathi Blue is a better performer when it comes to longevity, projection, and sillage than this one. About the dry down, it loses a lot of its power when it gets there it and it's barely detectable on my skin. Of course Ingenious Ginger is not as linear, it's better blended and smells a lot more expensive when it gets to the middle and base notes, but I feel like having both is pointless.
I like this a lot. At the opening, the sharp citrus and really warm fluffy undertone kind of gives me Creamsicle vibes. The ginger is present.. maybe more like an artisanal Creamsicle inspired cocktail. Lovely!
This is a unisex and fairly linear Ginger fragrance that's above average, the florals in the dry down make the fragrance a lot more likeable and it leans perfectly unisex with good projection and ok longevity, its mainly just a ginger (like the namesake) with an added freshness from the citruses and smoothness from the florals, which gets replaced by woody-vanilla in the deep dry down. Overall its a 7.2/10 for me

I finally had the chance to try this on skin. And my oh my. I dont know if its just my skin chem, but the people butchering this sense is just crazy. This is an absolute monster for summer/spring, it doesn’t project that much but its defo there. I last easily 12+ hours on my skin, and its simply just amazing. It opens up with a burst of ginger, which is quite overpowering, but it sizzles down quite fast to this beautiful combo of ginger, citrus and vanilla/sandlewood. Fast forward into the acutal drydown, it becomes this smooth scent of sparkling citrus and vanilla, which is sooooo good. Its defo a 10/10 for me, and would be a safe blind buy, whether you like ginger or not. Good recommendation from here.

I had no intention of checking this one out until my buddy showed it to me. I fell in love and I couldn’t stop smelling my sleeve as it put a smile on my face each time. This is a ginger citrus dominant smell, and there isn’t much more to say about the other notes (I don’t really get any rose or vanilla). It’s blended very nicely though and when I found this it was just a little over $100, I bought it that same day. It reminds me of L’Immensite by Louis Vuitton, except I like Ingenious Ginger better. It also reminded me of Widian Ginger (which is also very nice). Easy spring/summer fragrance. I give it a 9.4/10.
I enjoy this quite alot. I find it hard to pin point this fragrance as its pretty simple ginger however theres more to it but its not obvious? idk but i like this quite alot and thing alot of people will enjoy this and overall its quite a nice happy fragrance thats very uplifting. 7.7/10
Blind bought this one because of the review. Opening is straight lemon and ginger, not that good 7/10 Middle is like lemonade flower sparkling water. really unique and refreshing 9.4/10 Dry down cant really pick up that many notes mainly like a weaker version of Grand Soir and less powerful but still boozy 8.5/10 longevity is decent last around 6 hours on skin and sillage is mid overall pretty solid fresh unique scent recommend picking up but pretty hard to find.

I’m currently obsessed with this, and I’ve been gatekeeping it haha because I don’t want it to get too popular like Delina or BR540. I’m a huge fan of ginger in general, and this is so lovely, fizzy and gingery. Smells like ginger beer/ginger ale. Fresh, fizzy and as it settles, slightly creamy warm. I’ve been on the hunt for something I can wear all year round day or night, and I can see this working in all kind of situations except maybe some workplaces. The bottle design is beautiful too. I love it during winter and I’m excited to see how it wears in summer. Maybe some people smell it on me and aren’t liking it so much (haven’t heard anything negative yet, just one or two compliments) but I don’t care because I love it haha. I see people describe it as masculine and I disagree, I think it’s unisex leaning feminine. I’m a woman and my male partner loves it on me and thinks it’s more feminine too.
I’ve been looking for a daily wear fragrance to replace my previous Origins Ginger Essence. I still love Ginger Essence, but wanted to switch it up a little. I ordered this in a 5ml size from one of the decant sites. Not bad, but has a hint of powderiness that I don’t love, and is a little too heavy for regular daily wear. Does not really smell like ginger to me. Definitely not a replacement for Origins Ginger Essence. Smells a little generic. Reminds me of Calvin Klein Euphoria (even though I haven’t smelled that in a while).
Probably closet with that Dior Parfume that has lavender and powder in it, just more citrus..? Maybe not. I’m getting a lot of powder and ember and honestly this is by far something that I’d never reach for. Maybe it was the sample I got from DecantX but it’s just horrible powdery smell to me
This is potentially the best blind buy of my entire collection. The smell is so unique and a perfect summer fresh that dries down into a beautiful woody amber scent. I will rebuy this for life. 10/10

The Ginger might be Ingenious, but long lasting it is not. Or maybe Covid made me anosmic to ginger? Who knows... although I certainly hope not! Regardless, this a beautiful fresh 'summer-y' fragrance. The mandarin note is the real star of this show (on my skin). Fruity without being overly sweet. IMHO, this sits between Eau de Mandarine Ambrée (Hermes) and Cool Water Intense (Davidoff). Less woody/ambery and softer than CWI but less juicy than EMA, occupying a sweet spot in between. Overall a great unisex offering from Goldfield & Banks. And although the floral notes are very subdued and do a really good job at rounding everything out, they might push the composition a little further to the feminine side than some men may prefer. Performance-wise, this EPD doesn't meet expectation, both in projection and duration. I personally don't need my fragrances to project all that much so I'm fine with it being an intimate scent bubble. But I do expect an EPD to last longer than a eau de cologne, so big disappointment on that front. I like my 10ml sampler but the price point for a full bottle is not worth it. Perfectly blind buy-safe if you enjoy sweet citrus scents with a soft amber base and have extra money to burn on a low performance summer vibe.

Again bravo to the creator of this scent. They did their big one. 10/10 not one complaint. Ohh and this one belongs in summer or spring for sure.
I really love this one. It reminds me of the smell of a bowl of Fruity Pebbles. Seriously. That with some ginger and something that makes it smells sophisticated. Sophisticated Fruit Pebbles. The FP’s smells fades after a while, but never goes away, and ends up drying down to sweet creamy woods. I love it.

At first I wasn’t sure about this. I liked it but couldn’t decide if I wanted to buy it. However I kept revisiting it, because the scent remained on my mind. I ended up buying a 50ml bottle, but did get on sale. l don’t think I’d buy this at full price. It’s a scent I really enjoy, but not an absolute love. I really like the opening of zesty lemon and bergamot, with the zingy ginger note. It’s fizzy and uplifting. The notes remain for me as it dries down, it just gets weaker. This turns into a skin scent within an hour, typical for this brand sadly. It does lasts on fabrics. This could easily be worn all year round. For a ginger type perfume, this is really nice. I do feel like there’s something missing/unfinished in this to make it sweeter, brighter or an even a bit fresher. Although I think it would layer really well with other scents, so I can probably achieve that easily. Overall I’d give this a 7/10 currently
I love the ginger and citrus opening, which is truly unisex, but it became more a sweet, modern masculine in the dry down. It's bright and fresh up top, but is vanillic musky-sweet contemporary men's colognish in the base. I like old school men's colognes, but the modern freshies don't work well on my older lady skin.

Picked this up for summer/holidays. A great vibrant citrus and ginger scent off the bat, reminiscent of a sparkling ginger ale. This settles into a more amber, patchouli base. Great scent, nothing outstanding with the sillage or longevity, but gets the job done. One of the first fragrances I have received a compliment from a stranger wearing, complimenting the herbal smell to it.
Not even close to vibrato, only thing connecting the 2 is just ginger, completely different. At first, a year ago, i tried this and didnt like it, not that it was bad, but that the combo of fresh citrus and ginger just doesnt clash all too well with the woods and vanilla. And today, i think that opinion still stands as i decided to give it one more shot. It objectively smells good but is rather boring, mainly because of the odd mixture of summer notes and winter notes. Would i buy it? maybe, if i had left over cash laying around, but until then this one remains on the backburner.
Kind of thought it smelled like a cough drop when I first smelled it, but it grew on me and now I'm a fan. Definitely not a very spicy ginger to me, this is a sweet scent. Not bad!
An unoriginal, but overall pleasant and natural freshie. Very masculine, not sweet, and smells quite bitter, and honestly quite medicinal (hence the ginger). I really like the drydown, but it's a little too bitter for my liking. Performance is pretty poor, unfortunately.

Zesty orange sorbet drizzled with lemon peel and ginger sirup. Performs pretty well, I sprayed one spray on my arm a few hours ago, and I can smell it through my hoodie. No cleaning detergent, no headache. Pure bliss :D
I'll admit I was hoping for a fresh cut ginger smell which this is not. I enjoy the initial burst of citruses which make me smile but I really have to force the idea that the ginger is there. Gets a bit powdery on the drydown and somewhat quiet. I've got more gingery stuff on my want list for now. Don't know, as of today it's a pass, might give it another try during the summer.

I blind bought this and I don't regret it. This is one of the things that it grows on you the more you smell it, when I first smelt it I was a little disappointed but this stuff grows on you. I think that the scent could be for any season but the projection will be lacking in the colder months, This when I smell this I get a sweet orange, vanilla, and ginger primarily and while I don't think it is blind buy safe, I do think a lot of people will like how It smells and It smells unique

I fucking love this soooo much!!! HOLY MOLY its sooo good.. warm fluffy orange vanilla mixed with some very pleasent warm amber and sandalwood that really smells creamy and good!!! Scent 10/10 (the best summer fragrance imo that is affordable and beats the majority of niche houses' smells) Longevity 9/10 (lasts almost all day long, after 9+ hours it becomes a bit more intimate) Silage 10/10 (i leave a crazy scent trail outside even in winds or in calm weather) Projection 9/10 (unbelievable projection the first 4+ hours) Pleasee.. give it a try.. let it dry down and you'll see for yourself! This is a fucking massive banger
The most delicious juicy gingerale with a soft vanillic base. Not what I was expecting at all! A perfect, unusual warm-weather alternative to traditional citruses and tropical florals.

I don't think this is super close to Tygar etc. beyond having a ginger note. This comes off a lot more similar to something like EBK Ruby n Vanilla Intense where it's evoking a very orange creamsicle sort of smell - I get the orange here way more than the ginger, and the creamy vanillic gourmand aspect of it separates it from Tygar and it's ilk pretty substantially.
I ordered a sample of this in my search to find a perfume that smells like Method Energy Boost body wash (which is a zingy bitter orange ginger scent that reminds me of a fresh and spicy cocktail). While this is in the same general category, the citrus leans lemon rather than orange, and it has more of a creamsicle/sorbet vibe than the zesty tart ginger citrus spritz I was hoping for. Sorta smells like drinking a Sprite while wearing a silky blouse and that you sprayed a vanilla perfume on earlier. As I wear this, the rose and patchouli start to come out more. Though this is not exactly what I was looking for, I do like it – just not enough to buy a larger size. Especially because I feel like the citrus/vanilla combo is reminiscent of some more affordable scents like Taunt by Dedcool or 000 from Le Monde Gourmand that I already have in my collection. Not that they smell overly similar, this is definitely more ginger and drinkable than a skin-scent like those, but close enough that I don't need multiple since this isn't a scent profile I wear super often. This scent is amazing :)! A bright sharp lemon/ginger + some aromatic opening that dries down quick to a perfect blend of the lemon/ginger + vanilla and sandalwood that add a creamy effect to the fragrance. Perfect for the summer but holds up well year round

Ugh this was supposed to be the one!! It was so close!! The opening and initial dry down is so freaking perfect, ginger citrus creamsicle, not overly sweet, just divine. And then the effing patchouli comes out. Like why did they ruin this perfume with patchouli? After the ginger and citrus fades all you have left is the patchouli, and it smells like dirty patchouli to boot. And the patchouli last and lasts. This perfume could have been a home run, signature-for-life scent, and instead it turned out to be a stinky stinker 😷
Didn't like it at all at first, but on second wear it feels to me like a better version of althair. Doesn't last that long for me though. Don't particularly love it I doubt I'll buy a bottle unless the 3rd and 4th wear keep improving on the first and second.
